Joseph Blake started, as most studios do, with a decade of learning on other people's projects — wineries, multi-family, commercial and residential work across the country.
After a Master of Architecture at SCAD and years breaking into the industry in Portland, Oregon, I set up the studio in Austin in 2021 to do the work the way I believe it should be done: architecture and interiors, together, for real people.
Austin's mix of old bungalows and bold new builds is the perfect place to do exactly that — and we're just getting started.
